Reminds me of a walking area where you're traveling to the next destination - it's got an adventurous but somber tone to it due to the chorus guys. Sets a good atmosphere - that next destination might not be a very desirable place to go!
This is neat. :) Somehow has a contemplative feel to it. I can definitely picture wandering around on a world map to this theme, or talking to townspeople for information.
It's true that it doesn't loop smoothly at the end, but I have no idea why either. It didn't distract from my enjoyment of the piece, though.
